Jack Eichel and Dave & Adam’s Launch Special Apparel Line to Support Carly’s Club at Roswell Park
Proceeds to benefit pediatric cancer research and year-round patient support programs
The collection includes a hat and t-shirt featuring a gold silhouette of Eichel's goal celebration and the signature phrase "Shine Gold," which represents pediatric cancer awareness.
Eichel has paid many visits to patients at Roswell Park since becoming a Buffalo Sabre, but he wanted to do more to help in the fight against pediatric cancer. With September marking Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, he felt this was a perfect time to get more involved and place focus on the families who are facing this disease.
“These young patients and their families show incredible courage and strength every day,” said Eichel. “Cancer can’t be easy for anyone to deal with, especially kids, and I’m happy to be helping Carly’s Club make a positive difference in their lives.”
In addition to making sure all of the patients on the pediatric wing were among the first to receive apparel from the new collection, Eichel didn’t leave Roswell Park Cancer Institutewithout autographing all of their t-shirts and hats with a gold marker and taking pictures with some of his young fans.
